	Raymond L. Arn & Dorothy Maier Scholarship Fund Scholarship Criteria: Must be enrolled at Shawnee State University Must be a graduate from Scioto County, Ohio high school Dorothy Maier was born in Portsmouth on April 23, 1918, the daughter of the late Albert A. Arn and Kathryn Swearingen Arn. Raymond L. Arn, Dorothy’s brother, was a lifelong resident of Portsmouth and worked for Detroit Steel. Dorothy requested the scholarship be in both of the names in remembrance of her brother. Dorothy L. Maier by bequest gave the scholarship gift to the Scioto Foundation.
